Given that they’re not going to be producing that until the end of the year, there’s almost a missed opportunity, Joshua Reddaway of the NAO told MPs. 
That means that you haven’t been able to use that most robust estimate to drive improvement in controls during the scheme.
The NAO has said fraud on the scheme was likely to be considerable. Officials believe the jobs support has been targeted by dishonest businesses still requiring their employees to work and organised crime.
