Extra powers have been given to police to stop groups from gathering after a “violent disturbance” in Cardiff city centre.
From Sunday until Tuesday morning, officers will have the power to stop individuals and groups from congregating in the city centre for 24 hours.
On Saturday evening, six people were injured, including three with stab wounds after police received “multiple reports” of a violent incident in Queen Street. One person received serious head injuries.
