Paul Scholes admitted Manchester United “couldn’t create a chance” if it were not for Bruno Fernandes after the midfielder led his side to a 1-0 victory over West Brom.
Fernandes scored a second-half penalty as United picked up their first home Premier League win of the season against a spirited Baggies side.
The Portugal star has been the standout performer for the Red Devils since he arrived from Sporting Lisbon for an initial fee of £47million in January.
