MORE than half a million Brits could have type 2 diabetes without even knowing, a new study has revealed.
Experts have claimed that common symptoms of the illness such as urinating more often, are hard to miss – especially during the early stages of the condition.

The figures, for the seven days to October 15, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Governments testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two).

A significant increase in the number of deaths at Burton and Derby hospitals has meant visitor restrictions have been reintroduced with immediate effect.
The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, which runs both hospitals, yesterday reported one patient had died overnight on Saturday.
