GREATER Manchester has been placed on RED ALERT as coronavirus cases rocket in all ten boroughs.
Case numbers have surged to levels equal to or higher than what was seen in April for some areas, as Manchester records 100 positive cases for three days in a row.

There have now been over 4,000 positive tests reported across the county
There has been a total of 86 new coronavirus cases reported across Gloucestershire today (October 30).
The latest positive tests reported by Public Health England at 4pm today indicate there have now been a total of 4,154 cases of the virus across the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
The biggest rise in positive tests over the previous 24 hours has been seen in the Cheltenham region, where 22 new cases have been recorded.
