Figures released on Friday, October 23 by Public Health England show that there are 63 new cases of Covid-19 in Hartlepool.
The total number of people who have tested positive for the illness in the town now stands at 1,958.
The latest figures released today by NHS England show that two further coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

Health chiefs in Scotland’s Covid-19 hotspot ares is pleading with locals to stick to the guidelines as cases continue to soar.
A total of 20 ‘red’ wards, that only treat coronavirus patients, are currently running in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Over 500 Scots in that area are in hospital having tested positive for the deadly bug.
